Job Purpose and work duties:
To assist a 61 y/o lady with the day-to-day activities enabling her to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets her chosen lifestyle.
DBS requirement: The role involves personal care.
Personality: We are looking for someone with a bubbly and positive personality.
Community support: The individual likes to be taken out in the community at least three times per week, including parks and other local activities.
Appointments: Assistance is required for attending appointments, such as GP visits, hairdressers, and other essential outings.
Hours: The position covers 2 days per week, 6 hours per session, with flexibility where possible. 12 hours per week at £12.40 per hour, 2 days a week for 6 hours per session can be flexible on days.
Work Duties may include:
- Support with day planning
- Social support including clothes shopping, visiting friends, going for food
- Ensuring the employer's home is hygienic and safe
Other requirements:
- Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
- Assisting with management of employer's health risks
- Establish and maintain effective communication
- Maintaining confidentiality
Location: Within the employer's home in the Downend area of Bristol.
Requirements for applicant:

- Driver required, with access to motor vehicle (mileage paid)
