We are looking for a caring, reliable Personal Assistant to support our 7‑year‑old daughter, Esmae, during the school holidays. Esmae is a happy, sensory‑seeking little girl who is autistic and non‑speaking but can say a few words here & there. She loves music, singing, trampolines, swings, being outdoors, water play, puzzles, sand, painting, roller coasters, messy play, swimming, pretend play, dressing up, beach (throwing stones), colouring and cuddles lots & lots of cuddles (but only on her terms).
Role Responsibilities
- Provide supervision, support, and stimulation for Esmae during school holidays.
- Assist with personal care.
- Engage her in activities at home (puzzles, flashcards, play, colouring).
- Take her on outings (playground, café, SEN‑friendly activities such as trampolining).
- Ensure Esmae is safe, happy, and supported.
Requirements
- Kind, patient, and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in working with SEN children.
- A high level of supervision and attentiveness.
- Enhanced DBS check for working with children (we can arrange if not already held).
- Access to a car, clean driving licence, and business car insurance.
Details
- Hours: 4 hours per week term time, 8 hours per week non‑term.
- Pay: £12.71 per hour.
