Female P.A carer required for a gentleman who has had a stroke. AM & PM care call each day 7 days a week; hours vary. 20 hours a week, @ £13.45 per hour. Employed role. May require flexibility with care call visits around appointments.
AM care call to assist with getting out of bed & dressing, promote hygiene to shower in the week. Meal preps and/or cooking meals. Handling & prompting with daily medication. Keeping residence hygienically clean & tidy. Shopping (if required). Laundry duties once a week (Thursdays).
PM care call for meal prep & to maintain tidiness. Build a good rapport with client. Client has left-side hemiparesis due to a stroke. Domiciliary personal & domestic care required.
Preferred driver with own vehicle, but not essential. Punctuality essential. My DBS check will be required. Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable. Assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity. Assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently, as well as following instructions. My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure.
Experience &/or knowledge of stroke & mental health preferred, but not essential. Prenton, Wirral CH43 Area.
