Outline of role: To provide support and assistance to my child, to enable him/her to achieve maximum personal benefit from their everyday life.
Responsible to: Linda Brooks
Tasks:
- Help with personal care tasks including toileting
- Helping with dressing and getting ready
General tasks - on a regular basis, as requested by me:
- Help to access the community, for example, the park, beach, library etc
- Helping to participate in games and activities with the family
- Encouraging to play with various activities at home
- Supervision when eating
Social activities - as and when I ask: Assisting my daughter by providing support and assistance, both at home and in the community. Ellie is 10 years old and enjoys reading, cooking, yoga, exercise, dancing and all things Disney. She likes visiting the library, the park, particularly slides and climbing and loves the beach.
This is not a list of everything that I may ask you to do. I may ask you to do similar sorts of tasks which are not listed above. Provided that my request is reasonable, I expect you to follow my instructions.
Hours: 6 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. We would like the hours to be flexible to enable for longer periods sometimes. The hours would ideally be after school (afternoons from 2.30) and weekends.
Wages: Β£12.71 per hour
