I am a 13-year-old young boy looking for a Personal Assistant. I have a diagnosis of ASD and epilepsy, and I reside in the Merthyr area with my mother. I am non-verbal and able to use singular words to express my wants and needs. Within school, I can use PECs; however, I can become frustrated when adults are unable to understand what I am trying to communicate. Sometimes I can display challenging behaviours, and using minimal words and allowing me to have some space helps in these situations. I am unable to use the toilet independently; therefore, I will need support with my personal care needs and wear pads.

I can get easily distracted and have no road safety awareness or any sense of danger, so ensuring my safety when out in the community is very important to remember.
