Hours: 10 hours per week, Tues, Thurs and Friday – Times to suit candidate

Rate: £13.00 per hour

Role based in Emersons Green

Job purpose: To assist me, a friendly 33-year-old lady, with the day-to-day activities enabling me to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets my chosen lifestyle. I live in my own home with my 3 children, and I am looking for a kind PA to help me with my daily routines. My own personal interests include socialising over a cup of coffee, my family, music and shopping (retail therapy!).

Work Duties may include:

  • Helping with all domestic chores every week to ensure that my home environment is habitable, including laundry and packing away the online grocery shopping.
  • Support to access the local community and if I am not well enough to do this myself, to run errands on my behalf, i.e. collecting prescriptions etc.
  • Support with meal preparation on the days I do not feel able to prepare food for myself and my family. This could include some batch cooking so there are meals available in the freezer.

General support:

  • Accessing social activities
  • With accessing the shops for personal items
  • With socialising and getting out for a coffee
  • With getting out and about in the community
  • With mobility, ensuring my safety

Other requirements:

  • Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
  • Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
  • Establish and maintain effective communication
  • Maintaining confidentiality

Location and additional information:

  • Within the employer’s home in Emersons Green and the local area
  • 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year
