Personal Assistant in care Job Description A PA who can speak either Urdu, Mirpuri or Punjabi to assist with various activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle. Job Purpose & work Duties: Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation. Shopping Outdoor walking/exercise Taking me to appointments Assisting with leisure activities Supporting with Mobility, ensuring the employers safety Personal care Undertaking activities for employer Ensuring employers home is clean, hygienic, and safe Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns Assisting with management of employer’s health risks Establish and maintain effective communication Maintaining confidentiality Location Within the employer’s home and the local community of Dudley and the surrounding area To provide variable cover during periods of holiday and sickness 32 hours per week- 5 hours per day -across 6 days per week - 3-8pm Rate of Pay (£12.71 per hour) Requirements Experience of providing Care is essential Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred Locally based • Available to help at short notice is essential Consistent Motivated Organised Driver is preferred Good sense of humour Patient and empathetic Ability to understand and deliver the requirements of the employer Ability to undertake domestic activities Flexible, reliable, and honest Good general fitness An enhanced DBS check will be required ‘Please note that this advert has been placed on behalf of one of our customers.
