A PA who can speak either Urdu, Mirpuri or Punjabi to assist with various activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.
Job Purpose & Work Duties:
- Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
- Shopping
- Outdoor walking/exercise
- Taking me to appointments
- Assisting with leisure activities
- Supporting with mobility, ensuring the employer's safety
- Personal care
- Undertaking activities for employer
- Ensuring employer's home is clean, hygienic, and safe
- Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
- Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
- Establish and maintain effective communication
- Maintaining confidentiality
Location: Within the employer’s home and the local community of Dudley and the surrounding area.
To provide variable cover during periods of holiday and sickness. 32 hours per week - 5 hours per day - across 6 days per week - 3-8pm.
Rate of Pay: £12.71 per hour.
Requirements:
- Experience of providing care is essential.
- Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred.
- Locally based.
- Available to help at short notice is essential.
- Consistent, motivated, organised.
- Driver is preferred.
- Good sense of humour.
- Patient and empathetic.
- Ability to understand and deliver the requirements of the employer.
- Ability to undertake domestic activities.
- Flexible, reliable, and honest.
- Good general fitness.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required.
