Personal assistant required for a young gentleman in CW12 area. Client has selective autism and PA would need to support client to build communication and independence. Flexible hours every other Wednesday. A DBS check will be required for the role prior to starting employment.

Hours and rate of Pay

£14 per hour. Every other Wednesday – hours to be discussed on interview.

Main Duties

  • Building confidence
  • Life skills
  • Support client to develop independence and communication through activities such as:
    • Going out for meals
    • Using public transport
    • Going to the cinema

Personal Assistant Specification

  • DBS check will be required.
  • Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
  • My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
  • They will need to be patient to understand my needs and requests and build communication with me over time.
  • My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition and be able to work well independently.
  • The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
