Hours: 4 hours per week (schedule to be agreed)

Rate of Pay: £16.80 per hour

About the Role:

A friendly and reliable Personal Assistant is required to support the employer with day-to-day activities to help maintain an independent personal, domestic and social life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with emails, forms and communication with professionals or official agencies.
  • Provide light domestic support including cleaning, tidying, plant care and help with cooking or food preparation.
  • Support with organising and decluttering within the home.
  • Assist with occasional furniture moving or household tasks when needed.
  • Occasionally accompany the employer to local appointments or journeys and help communicate with professionals if required.
  • Support with general wellbeing, symptom tracking and following a medical diet when needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent English skills, it's absolutely vital for me.
  • Computer literate (emails, forms, online tasks).
  • Understanding or experience with autism and working in a calm, patient and supportive manner.
  • Physically able to assist with light to moderate household tasks.
  • Cat-friendly (employer has an indoor cat).

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting people with mental health needs or mild hoarding behaviours.
  • Comfortable using apps or online platforms when needed.

Additional Information:

  • References and the right to work in the UK are required.
  • DBS check required.
  • This is not a cash-in-hand role.
