To support our children with diagnosis of learning disability, epilepsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and severe communication difficulties in the home or accessing social opportunities within the community to allow us as parents to have respite.
Work Duties will include:
- Identify local social activities
- Motivating and encouraging them to take part and try new things
- Help her to access activities that meet her interests
- Supporting with encouraging independence around the toilet and reminders to wash hands
- Supporting with toileting personal care
- Managing epilepsy seizures
Other requirements:
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the child and their parents, maintaining confidentiality
- Always ensuring the safety of the child
Requirements for applicant:
- Imagination in relation to activities to undertake
- Good sense of humour
- Flexible, reliable and honest
- Physically able to keep up with active children
- Understanding of autism
- Full driving license with business insurance within your policy
- DBS Check will be completed
Location – Number of PA roles available – We are looking for 2 PA’s. £13.88 per hour. Term Time – 6 hours per week. Non-Term Time - 10 hours per week.
