We’re seeking a proactive pattern development expert with Lectra digital pattern cutting experience to help shape the next generation of functional apparel. This role will be part-time or full time onsite, and a new addition to a growing team.
Key Responsibilities:- This role focuses on enhancing garment performance through precision pattern engineering and collaborative development. You’ll work closely with design and production teams to bring technically demanding garments to life — from concept through to final fit.
- Translate design briefs into accurate digital patterns and technical packs.
- Recommend construction techniques and components to optimise garment durability and functionality.
- Evaluate prototypes for fit, silhouette, and performance alignment.
- Collaborate in fit sessions to refine patterns and ensure production readiness.
- Liaise with offshore teams to communicate pattern adjustments and special sizing requirements.
- Support new product/project initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in garment engineering.
- 4–5 years’ experience in pattern development for woven & jersey apparel (proficiency in Lectra).
- Familiarity with ISO standards and performance-led garment design.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset and a collaborative spirit.
