Job Description
I am partnering with a globally recognised brand who are looking to appoint an additional head into their Logistics team.\\n\\nYou will be managing deliveries with their wholesale partners. You will monitor PO’s and agreed delivery dates and communicate any changes to partners. You will arrange deliveries, and update delivery schedules, prepare necessary shipping documents and check invoices for discrepancies.\\n\\nThis role requires you to have excellent IT skills- Excel in particular.\\n\\nShipping & Logistics Coordinator- The Role\\n\\n * Monitor the PO schedule (Ex-factory), follow up with suppliers for shipment bookings, and notify stakeholders of potential delays in advance.\\n\\n * Utilise & maintain Infor nexus and our ERP systems.\\n\\n * Coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, and 3PL logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch, shipment, and delivery.\\n\\n * Confirm shipping schedules with suppliers and freight forwarders to meet cargo cut-off times.\\n\\n * Track shipments, provide timely updates to stakeholders, and report progress to the shipping manager and internal teams.\\n\\n * Verify and approve import documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) to ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.\\n\\n * Work with customs agents to resolve clearance issues and prevent delays.\\n\\n * Enter inbound shipment details accurately and promptly into the ERP system.\\n\\n * Monitor shipping costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.\\n\\n * Maintain accurate shipment records to support audits and reporting.\\n\\n * Resolve shipping issues with forwarders and address discrepancies in documentation promptly.\\n\\n * Conduct regular analyses and reconciliations of shipments and invoices.\\n\\nShipping & Logistics Coordinator- The Person\\n\\n * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics.\\n\\n * Previous experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations (typically 1–3 years).\\n\\n * Proficiency in ERP systems and shipping/logistics software.\\n\\n * Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, INCOTERMS, and customs clearance processes.\\n\\n * Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.\\n\\n * Strong attention to detail to verify shipping documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.\\n\\n * Problem-solving abilities to resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and clearance issues efficiently.\\n\\n * Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.\\n\\nWe regret that due to the high amount of interest that we receive for each of our vacancies, if you do not hear from one of our consultants within 5 days then unfortunately you have not been shortlisted for this role
