My Client are a well-established fashion supplier based in Manchester, working with leading high-street retailers and global manufacturers. They are looking for an organised, confident, and proactive Import Merchandiser to join the in-house team. The ideal candidate will have strong and consistent experience in Import Merchandising for importers that supply UK clothing brands and retailers. You will manage the full critical path from initial order to delivery, ensuring products arrive on time and to the correct specifications. You’ll work closely with overseas suppliers, internal teams, and customers to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full critical path process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Liaise daily with international suppliers to track production, sampling, and shipment schedules.
- Build strong relationships with customers, providing regular updates and resolving any issues promptly.
- Review and approve samples, lab dips, artwork, and packaging.
- Monitor order progress, ensuring accuracy of product details, pricing, and delivery information.
- Work with internal teams, including design, sales, and logistics to support smooth product flow.
