Fantastic entry level opportunity for a creative Trainee / Brand Designer to join this industry-leading lingerie brand! Working under the guidance of the Head of Design and Senior Designer, you will support the design and development of innovative, commercially successful products. This is a ‘hands on’ immersive experience where you have full control of your designs, and your fit and technical skills will be developed. It’s essential that you will have confident CAD skills with a high level of attention to detail, and a genuine passion for design.
Job Responsibilities:
- Source and develop materials and trims within cost targets and agreed quality standards.
- Research trends, innovations and consumer insights to help create commercial new product ranges.
- Support fitting and grading processes to maintain agreed fit standards and critical path deadlines.
- Assist with design processes, including pattern development, technical drawings and photoshoots.
- Demonstrate strong brand and market awareness, interpreting customer and market requirements effectively.
Skills & Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Fashion, Contour Fashion or a related discipline.
- Highly creative with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident communicator, able to present ideas clearly across all levels of the business.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, including creating accurate CADs and technical drawings.
- Understanding of pattern cutting and grading is desirable.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach and willingness to learn.
