We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, analytical, and commercially focused Demand Planner Merchandiser to join a family of intimate apparel brands. Reporting to the Merchandising Manager, you will play a key role in planning, forecasting, and trading across our multi-channel business, ensuring optimum stock levels to drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This is a newly created post and an excellent opening for someone who is self-motivated and looking to make the role their own. Hybrid working available after successful completion of probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and stock levels across eCommerce, marketplaces, and wholesale channels to maximise sales performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans to achieve agreed KPIs.
- Lead weekly and monthly trading reviews, providing insight-driven recommendations to maximise sales and margin opportunities.
- Support seasonal planning, range architecture, and channel-specific trading strategies.
- Optimise forward buying decisions through analysis of sales trends and demand forecasts.
- Develop markdown and promotional strategies to achieve sales targets while protecting profitability.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Finance, and external partners to support business objectives.
- Ensure global stock cover and effective inventory management through strategic planning and forecasting.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' merchandising experience, ideally within fashion, retail, or eCommerce.
- Strong understanding of multi-channel merchandising and inventory planning.
- Familiar working with high number of SKUs or mix of size range and options.
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical and forecasting skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, data-driven retail environment.
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Experience within Intimate Apparel is advantageous but not essential.
