Childrenswear Designer

My client is an established supplier to the UK & European High Street recruiting for a trend driven, dynamic Multi-Product Kidswear Designer with a proven background in a similar role.

Based full time in a dynamic, creative office in central London, you will work within a small team on trend, mood, colour and product development. You will take autonomy for your area and lead customer meetings/relationships.

Kidswear Designer – The Role

* Research, identify and translate current trends.

* Working on trends at the start of the season and putting together your own mood, colour and trend boards.

* Designing a commercial, multi-product, trend-led range to present to clients.

* Produce accurate and detailed sketches / CADS and tech packs

* Monitoring range and customer sampling from start to finish.

* Attend customer meetings, present and action any design requests.

* Build strong relationships with clients.

* Developing both new and existing accounts.

* Have a good knowledge of garment construction and fabrics to ensure accurate first samples. xiskglj
