My client is looking for a Strategy Analyst to join the Head Office team in North London and help shape the future direction of our business.

The Role – Merchandise Planner / Strategy Analyst
- Track industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor strategies to identify emerging opportunities (from new product categories to sustainability initiatives).
- Work with senior leadership to define Brand & Business Strategy, positioning, assess potential partnerships, and evaluate expansion opportunities.
- Manage forecasting and revenue planning, feasibility studies for new product launches or market entries as well as pricing and assortment strategies.
- Leverage sales, e-commerce, and social media data to uncover drivers of revenue, highlight growth potential and evaluation of trade marketing.
- Support seasonal and annual business planning, order book and demand planning, assess risks, and recommend actions on pricing, market entry, or product mix.
- Partner with design, merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to ensure strategic decisions align with both creative vision and commercial goals.
- Analyse and review margins, and sell throughs, monitoring mark downs, inventory and report on sales trends and risks.
- Produce strategic presentations for leadership outlining brand direction to support Senior Management with BI and sales reporting, margin and price point efficiency and supplier management.
The Candidate – Merchandise Planner / Strategy Analyst
- Strong analytical and financial skills (Excel, BI tools, data modelling).
- Solid understanding of fashion cycles, consumer psychology, and branding.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Background in business, economics, fashion management, or marketing.
- Support Senior Management with BI and sales reporting, margin and price point efficiency and supplier management.
