I am working with a highly successful Childrenswear business, who are looking to appoint an additional Senior Sales Account Manager into their team. You will be responsible for driving sales within the department, with a particular focus on managing Primark. You will build relationships and partner with Buyers, as well as work hand in hand with the in-house design team, to create commercial but exciting product ranges.

The ideal candidate will be either from a Sales or Buying background, with a working relationship with Primark. You will be comfortable and motivated with driving sales, hitting targets and creating a first-class service with your customers. If you also have License experience, then this will be a bonus!

Senior Sales Account Manager - The Role:
  • Organise and attend new and existing customer meetings throughout the UK to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Develop customer account plans and strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and gross margin targets.
  • Identify opportunities for open to buys and expanding product or service offerings to existing customers.
  • Prepare sales forecasts through GS to track progress and performance.
  • Provide weekly updates to the Divisional Sales Director on account status, best and worst sellers, new sales, new business, cancellations and strategy to replace any lost sales.
  • Communicate seasonal key messages to the design team ahead of each season, including insights on best and worst sellers, high-volume lines, key licenses, and new opportunities.
  • Share seasonal budget plans with design counterparts to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Represent the business at licensing trade shows alongside customers to support relationship-building and market awareness.
  • Manage sales forecasts for licensors in partnership with the License Lead, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales related customer enquiries & requests.
Senior Sales Account Manager - The Person:
  • Proven track record in sales, with the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Must have a working relationship with Primark, and be comfortable with driving this account forward.
  • Must have the ability to drive and develop successful working relationships with customers, to deliver rewarding business and achieve sales targets.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
