Apparel Designer

Outstanding opportunity for a creative, driven and experienced designer to join the apparel design team. You will be responsible for trend research, designing and development of the products, and providing integral support with the factories, but also the wider design team.

Designer – Licensed Apparel – The Role

• Generate and maintain a high standard of design within the customer and brief, adhering to strict deadlines
• Stay up to date with latest trends by attending regular store visits, and shop reports
• Coordinate with the Account Manager to ensure price needs are met at the design stage
• Liaise with the technical team to ensure specs are a correct representation of the design
• Create and send new sample requests, clear and detailed tech packs, style details and artwork to the factories
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of the customer base when creating designs
• Respond to customer and factory queries
• Liaise with Licensors and assist with checking License approvals including concept, strike offs and PP sample uploads obtaining full product approval

Designer – Licensed Apparel – The Candidate

• Previous licensing experience Ideal
• Educated to degree level in fashion, or fashion related graphic / print design
• Creative and trend driven
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Team player and able to build relationships
