Accessories Designer in Leicester

We are seeking a talented and creative accessories designer with character licence experience to join a dynamic team in a rapidly expanding company.

This is a full-time office based position

Accessories Designer - The Role:

• We are seeking a talented and creative licence Footwear or accessories (or ideally both) Designer to join a dynamic team and rapidly expanding company.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating ideas into visually appealing licence designs
• Ability to adapt between kids and adults,
• Continual Research and a strong commitment to staying updated on fashion trends, licences and printing techniques is essential, staying up to date with the latest fashion trends, and ensuring that designs meet the highest quality standards
• Work closely with the Design team to fulfil customer briefs and requirements
• Work closely and liaise with overseas factories
• Trend and Mood Boards: Proficiency in CAD and creating visually compelling trend and mood boards
• Tech Pack Creation, Expertise in creating clear and concise tech packs
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Accessories Designer - The Skills

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Licensed background is an advantage.
• Fashion related degree
• Passionate and enthusiastic
• Experience in working closely with approvals teams to ensure design compliance advantageous
• Ability to work well in an organised manner in a fast paced environment
• Software Knowledge Required: Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Photoshop Microsoft Excel / Microsoft PowerPoint / Microsoft Word
