A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an adaptable, people‑focused HR Generalist to join an education organisation during an exciting period of transformation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in change, and can slot effortlessly into a warm, collaborative team. Full time or part-time (4 days) available.

About The Organisation

The organisation is moving through a significant systems upgrade, transitioning payroll and HR processes from paper and spreadsheet‑based methods to a new HRIS. You’ll play a key role in supporting this journey whilst supporting with the running of the day‑to‑day HR operations.

The Role

A hands‑on, varied HR Generalist position where you will support both BAU and project activity, including:

  • Employee Life cycle - management across onboarding, changes, and leavers.
  • ER Casework
  • Payroll Support
  • Recruitment Support
  • HRIS implementation Support

Acting as a key support to the Head of HR, you will ensure smooth delivery during a period of change, providing advice and guidance regarding HR process and policy. This role suits someone who is flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in an evolving environment.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong HR Generalist experience at Advisor / Manager level
  • Strong Employment Law Knowledge
  • Understanding of payroll processes
  • Experience or strong interest in HRIS implementation
  • A warm, engaging, “people person”
  • Able to work onsite full‑time for the first 4–6 weeks, then hybrid.
