- Financial and corporate communications for financial institutions, UK PLCs, private equity, private credit, asset managers or listed companies
- Experience spanning M&A, transactions, restructurings, capital raises, investor relations and regulatory scrutiny
- Ability to operate confidently across public and private markets
- Strategic communications experience within energy, specifically oil and gas, with experience across power, extractives or industrials also highly relevant
- Strong understanding of how these businesses operate, their stakeholders, and the political, regulatory and reputational pressures they face
- Experience advising on employer brand, DEI, STEM initiatives and broader corporate responsibility or transition-related programmes alongside core strategic communications work is highly valued
This work centres on values-led, strategic advisory support in complex environments, with media engagement forming an important part of the broader communications remit. Alongside this, we also welcome strength in:
- Corporate reputation and issues management
- Crisis, cyber, special situations and other sensitive, fast-moving scenarios
If you’ve advised senior leaders through complex, high-profile communications challenges, this is an opportunity to do so on a genuinely global stage.
The Role
You will:
- Provide strategic counsel to senior executives on reputation, transformation, corporate narrative and stakeholder engagement
- Develop and deliver clear, credible messaging grounded in insight, evidence and structured thinking
- Support clients through major moments including transactions, regulatory change, activism, cyber incidents and crises
- Contribute to media engagement and handling as part of broader strategic communications programmes
- Produce high-quality written work such as statements, Q&As, speeches, investor materials, media briefs and leadership messaging
- Work closely with colleagues and clients across borders, sectors and time zones
- Build trusted client relationships and spot opportunities to add value and grow accounts
- Lead workstreams and collaborate effectively with colleagues, supporting and mentoring more junior team members
You Will Succeed Here If You Have
- 4–6+ years’ experience in strategic communications, corporate communications or reputation advisory (agency or in-house)
- Clear depth of knowledge in either financial services and capital markets or energy and industrials
- The ability to articulate your role and impact on past projects, not just outcomes
- Strong writing skills and confidence translating complex, technical or financial information into clear narratives
- Experience advising senior stakeholders in sensitive or high-pressure situations
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Experience using insight and monitoring tools such as Factiva, Quid or Pulsar is an advantage
- Established media relationships are helpful but not essential
- The right to work in the UK
What’s on Offer
- Competitive salary plus discretionary bonus
- Private health insurance, employee assistance programme, volunteering hours and a flexible public holiday policy
- Hybrid working model, three days in the office
- Structured development, mentoring and training, with opportunities for international collaboration and office exchange
- A supportive, high-calibre and sociable culture that values different perspectives and experiences
- The chance to work with colleagues and clients across Europe, the US and Asia on issues that shape industries, policy and public debate
