Two Senior Account Manager roles have opened up at a nationally connected, content-led PR agency that specialises in creating stories that shape the UK news agenda. This is an agency known for delivering work that lands in major national media - blending research, creativity, cultural awareness and sharp storytelling to earn real coverage for big-name brands. They’re growing - and they’re looking for experienced PR professionals who are ready to lead accounts, shape ideas, and bring thoughtful, inclusive perspectives to national storytelling. We actively encourage applications from people from underrepresented backgrounds and those who may not have followed a “traditional” PR career path but can demonstrate the experience and readiness to operate at Senior Account Manager level.
About the role
This is a strategic, creative leadership position. You’ll act as the trusted day-to-day lead across several accounts - shaping campaigns, guiding delivery, and offering confident counsel grounded in a strong understanding of the news landscape. You’ll collaborate with specialists across video, research, imagery and copy to ensure campaigns are culturally aware, creatively strong, and genuinely newsworthy. You don’t need to tick every box - but you do need to be confident owning relationships, driving work forward, and spotting opportunities others might miss.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading day-to-day client relationships with confidence and empathy
- Shaping creative, insight-led campaign ideas
- Translating cultural and news trends into strong media opportunities
- Managing multiple projects and timelines effectively
- Writing and overseeing high-quality press materials
- Supporting and guiding more junior colleagues
- Contributing to an inclusive, collaborative team culture
What they’re looking for
- Around 3+ years’ PR agency experience (or equivalent transferable experience)
- Strong understanding of what makes a story land nationally
- Experience managing clients and multiple workstreams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking and commercial awareness
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
If you’re currently an Account Manager who feels ready to step up - and can demonstrate that readiness - they would welcome that conversation. This is not a marketing or sales role. PR experience is essential.
What you’ll get
- Salary up to £40,000
- Hybrid working (minimum 3 days in office)
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Enhanced maternity and paternity pay
- Life assurance & sick pay
- Birthday off
- EV salary sacrifice scheme
- Regular team events and socials
This is an opportunity to join a team where your ideas are heard, your growth is supported, and your perspective genuinely matters.
