People Insight is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, finding creative ways to generate new business opportunities, and managing leads through the sales pipeline. You will work closely with your sales colleagues to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met. Within 3-6 months, for the right candidate, the role will progress to include managing the full sales cycle for inbound sales leads.
Responsibilities
- Source, nurture and book outbound lead meetings
- Prospecting: identifying potential customers for People Insight’s products and services
- Contacting potential customers via phone, email and online, creating an impactful first impression of the brand
- Qualifying potential customers and setting appointments for your Business Development colleagues
- Collaborating with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
- Using CRM software (HubSpot) to manage leads and track progress towards meeting sales goals
- Staying up to date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
- Providing regular reports on sales activities and results to management
- Building trusted relationships with HR leaders within your prospective client base/sectors
- Supporting senior business development team members with tender submissions
Requirements and skills
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably at a SaaS company with an HR focused offering
- Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, being able to think on your feet
- Highly organised, positive and resilient
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with prospects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies & ability to learn quickly
Salary & Benefits
- £35,000-£40,000 p.a. base salary (OTE c.£45,000- £50,000)
- Annual leave starting at 28 days + bank holidays + 2 days/year PTO for volunteering
