Position Overview: People Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Data and Evaluation Coordinator. As a key member of the Data and Evaluation Team, the Data and Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating program monitoring and evaluation activities across a variety human services programs. The Coordinator also works with data at an agency-wide level, collecting, managing, and reporting on agency data to support accountability for programs. The coordinator assists with survey administration, develops data collection tools and processes, analyzes qualitative and quantitative data, prepares reports, and provides data related training and technical assistance to People Inc. staff. The Coordinator also has the primary responsibility for overseeing the agency\’s client data management system. This is a hybrid position.

- Good organizational skills: This position requires an ability to keep track of multiple data systems and regular reporting deadlines. Keeping organized and planning ahead so that information is orderly and accessible is highly important.
- Data analysis and reporting skills: This position requires an understanding of basic statistics and an overall comfort level with numeric data. Being able to take data from our system or survey tools and accurately make sense of it for broader audiences is valuable. The ideal candidate needs to be able to collect and present data in ways that are accessible to various stakeholder groups including clients, staff, board members, funders, and the broader community.
- Computer skills: This position requires that individuals spend most of their time working from a computer. The preferred candidate will be able to quickly learn databases, know how to get around in excel, and generally use Microsoft products to communicate with colleagues and produce work products.
- Teamwork: This position is part of a small team that works closely together, but also requires collaboration with various program teams across the organization. This position serves as the supervisor for other positions, and the preferred candidate should feel comfortable supporting them in their work while also maintaining an individual workload.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least one year previous experience with project management, data analysis, or program evaluation is preferred, but applicable skills and experience will be accepted in lieu of these qualifications.
