People Incorporated of Virginia is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Education Coordinator at our headquarters in Abingdon, VA We are seeking a knowledgeable and energetic candidate to oversee child education services for 0-5 year old students. The successful candidate will possess a proven record for effectively managing curriculum services, lesson plan implementation, and positive child outcomes. Candidate must be high functioning, team oriented, personable and able to manage complex duties successfully. Position will work closely with classroom teachers to ensure effective ongoing support to teachers and children. Position supervises and guides the work of behavior specialists and the practice-based coaching program. Regular travel to centers in Southwest and Northern Virginia required. A Bachelor\’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience required.
