We are recruiting on behalf of a national Tier 1 EPC delivering major energy, utility and civil engineering projects across the UK. We are looking to secure a civils-biased Site Manager to take ownership of site operations and ensure CDM compliance during the pre-construction, ground investigation, survey and feasibility phases of nationally significant infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on site leadership role, responsible for coordinating multiple work fronts, managing subcontractors, maintaining programme performance and ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and quality are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of site activities across multiple locations.
- Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
- Management of ground investigation, survey and enabling works packages.
- Planning and coordinating site logistics, access arrangements and work programmes.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
- Leading site safety initiatives and maintaining a strong health and safety culture.
- Conducting site inspections, briefings and progress meetings.
- Liaising with project teams, stakeholders, landowners and external bodies.
- Monitoring productivity, quality and performance on site.
- Identifying and resolving site issues to maintain programme objectives.
