Make a real difference working within our Liverpool team as a Professional Support Officer, to support the teams who make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with vision and hearing loss. This is a Permanent Part-Time Opportunity (30.4 hours per week) that reports directly to the Client Services Network Lead - Greater Sydney.

You’ll make a difference in this role by:

  • Providing high quality customer service as the first point of contact for all clients, families and incoming enquiries
  • Ensuring the smooth day to day running of reception services while also providing administrative support to other NextSense services
  • Liaising with clients, visitors and external partners such as hospitals, cochlear implant providers and other allied health professionals
  • Effectively using the electronic client management system to book appointments, maintain records and bill clients
  • Assisting in monitoring service agreements for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funded clients
  • Providing support to NextSense therapists such as diary management, assisting with operational tasks and projects

About You:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Prior experience using a client management system/platform
  • Demonstrates effective time management and teamwork
  • Prior experience providing administrative support and following established procedures and guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check
