We are working with a growing provider looking to appoint a Registered Manager for a children’s residential home in the DE11 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a service with clear progression plans, including the potential to move into Dual Registration and Responsible Individual level. We are also open to experienced Deputy Managers who are ready to take the next step into a Registered Manager position, with full support provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards
- Promote a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people
- Lead, develop, and support the staff team
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care
- Work closely with external professionals, families, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Previous experience within an Ofsted-registered children’s home
- Either: Current Registered Manager experience, or Strong Deputy Manager experience with readiness to step up
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
