We are recruiting Residential Care Workers (RCW) for a new 2-bed children’s residential home in Liverpool L11, supporting young people with EBD.
There are 2 full-time positions available, along with 1 bank position.
The role involves supporting young people with day-to-day care, promoting safeguarding, and maintaining a safe, consistent home environment in line with Ofsted standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support young people with emotional and behavioural needs
- Promote safeguarding and the welfare of children
- Support routines, structure, and positive outcomes
- Work as part of a team to maintain a safe home environment
- Follow policies, procedures, and care plans
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (residential experience preferred)
- Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Willingness to work shifts including sleep-ins
- Level 3 not required (training and support provided)
Details:
- £13.83 per hour
- £60 per sleep-in
- 2 on / 4 off rota (full-time roles)
- Bank shifts also available
- Annual salary is pro rata, based on hours worked
