We are supporting a provider preparing to register a new children’s residential home in East London (RM6). As registration can take between 6–18 months, this role offers a unique opportunity to join an existing, established home initially, with a clear progression pathway into a Registered Manager position for the new service.

This is ideal for either:

  • An experienced Deputy Manager seeking progression to Registered Manager, or
  • An existing Registered Manager looking to be involved in developing and leading a new home from the ground up.

Option 1: Sponsorship Available (Deputy Manager → Registered Manager Pathway)

  • Minimum 1 year’s full-time experience as a Deputy Manager within an Ofsted-registered children’s home (not supported accommodation)
  • Must be able to provide the URN of the home
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Package: £35,000 per annum while based in the existing home

Working pattern: 3 days onsite (9am–9pm) as part of a 2:1 staffing ratio, 1 day (6–7 hours) onsite for admin/documentation, shared on-call responsibilities with the Registered Manager

Upon successful registration of the new home: Salary increase to £50,000 + £5,000 bonus

Option 2: No Sponsorship Required (Registered Manager Route)

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an Ofsted-registered children’s home
  • Must be able to provide the URN of the home

Package: £50,000 per annum while based in the existing home

Upon successful registration of the new home: £50,000 salary + £10,000 bonus
