We are seeking an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead a well-established 2-bed EBD children’s home in Leicester. The home currently supports two settled young people and has a Deputy Manager already in post, providing additional leadership support.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, child-centred leader who understands the regulatory expectations of managing an EBD provision and is confident in driving standards, stability and positive outcomes.

  • Ensuring full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
  • Maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and professionals
  • Preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (completed or in progress)
  • Experience managing or deputising within an EBD children’s home
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to achieve positive Ofsted outcomes

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (DOE & Ofsted history)

Shared on-call rota, 28 days annual leave, pension scheme, staff wellbeing programme, Ofsted performance-related bonus.

Start Date: ASAP – once a suitable candidate is identified and cleared through the appropriate checks.
