An amazing opportunity for a Site Agent to support with the delivery of a ~£30M marine civils package that forms part of the wider Sizewell C programme. Joining a niche Marine Civil Contractor, you will provide support to the Senior Project Manager in organising the day to day running of this project. The scope includes over 1,000 metres of sheet piling, cofferdam construction and diversion of existing drainage channels. This is a unique and challenging piece of civil engineering that will be carried out in an area of SSSI.
This will be the first of many projects meaning you will enjoy a fixed working location for the next few years, along with a platform to advance your career to Site Agent. You will also gain unique technical experience, working in a true niche alongside experts in their field.
As a Site Agent, you will report to the Senior Project Manager and collaborate closely with both the Project Manager and Contracts Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site, managing project documentation, and ensuring smooth delivery across both large- and small-scale projects. Your role will be key in ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Hold a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HNC, HND or Degree)
- Have several years of site-based experience gained working on civil engineering projects with values more than £10M
- Have some understanding of the NEC form of contract
- Hold a valid CSCS Card and SSSTS or SMSTS
