Position Overview: To oversee, coordinate, and take accountability for all MEP related issues on the Project, reporting to the MEP Lead/Operations Director and indirectly to the Project Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and ensure that requirements on Health, Safety & Environment are implemented and communicated to all Reports and Contractors.
- Work with the Commercial team on the procurement strategy.
- Ensure that work packages and the work packages returns are issued and checked in line with the Clients Scope of Works.
- Check the Mechanical design and report on any issues with regards to the clients standards or requirements.
- Work with the Planning team to ensure the Project has robust, coordinated, and buildable schedules.
- Ensure that PPC (Programme & Production Control) is implemented and updated in line with the Project requirements.
- Work with the Design Team and Contractors to identify any pre-fabrication opportunities.
- Work with the QA/QC team to ensure that the Mechanical construction is delivered to the Clients standards.
- Work with the Cx team to ensure systems are reviewed, completed, and available for commissioning.
- Work with the Projects Senior Management to ensure that the Project is handed over efficiently.
- Work with the Projects Senior Management to ensure the Project meets the business objectives in delivering projects on time and profitability to the agreed project and business targets.
- Ensure all M&E changes are cascaded through the Project.
- Attend leadership meetings to ensure all Project targets are discussed and implemented.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports as required by the Project to Senior Management.
Qualifications:
- Project experience from diverse technical backgrounds/sectors.
- Accreditation with CIBSE, IET, IMechE, SoPHE, CIOB.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (or vocational equivalent).
