An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Commissioning Manager to join a major project based in Central London. Our client is a leading Tier 1 MEP contractor delivering one of the most high-profile Data Centre developments in London.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in mechanical and electrical (M&E) commissioning, ideally with experience delivering complex building services packages on large-scale construction projects valued at £15 million and upwards.

The Role:

  • As Commissioning Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the full M&E commissioning process on a landmark scheme.
  • You'll work closely with the project team and specialist subcontractors to ensure successful delivery of all building services systems in line with programme and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage all commissioning activities across mechanical and electrical systems from pre-commissioning through to handover.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to align commissioning activities.
  • Develop and manage the commissioning programme and ensure timely completion.
  • Supervise testing, validation, and resolution of any system issues.
  • Report progress and provide regular updates to the senior project team.

Extensive experience in MEP commissioning within commercial or large-scale mixed-use projects is required. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services (HVAC, BMS, lighting, power, etc.) is essential. Proven ability to manage M&E commissioning on projects valued at £15 million and above is necessary. Contractor-side experience is preferred.

Contract: Permanent or Contract (Outside IR35 considered). Work on a flagship, high-profile Data Centre with a lengthy project duration.
