Recruiting to the Civil Engineering, Transport & Natural Resources sectors. Are you looking for a hybrid role with an average of just two days a week in the office? Interested in joining an end client organisation with a £15bn+ investment pipeline over the next decade? A major infrastructure sector client is expanding its commercial services team and is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to each of its multi‑million sub programmes. Each programme carries a £1bn investment allocation which will be delivered over the next five years.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial assurance of all financial and contractual aspects of contracted works in relation to a portfolio of projects. You will develop skills across:
- Procurement and contract strategy development and implementation
- Development and implementation of key commercial controls
- Assurance, pre and post contract
- Process applications for payment from partners
- Forecast assurance
- Change control assurance
- Contract administration assurance
- Supply chain management and procurement support
Be educated to HND or Degree standard in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, or a related degree. Hold sound knowledge of contract, be that JCT or NEC or similar. Ideally have experience of working across both development and delivery phases of projects, although this is a nice to have so don’t worry if it’s only one and not the other.
Compensation and BenefitsOn offer is a salary of between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum along with an annual bonus, a 12% employer pension contribution, annual holiday and other benefits.
