A leading Global Building Consultancy is looking to add a Graduate/Assistant Building Surveyor to its growing London Building Surveying team in London & the South East.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment delivering a wide range of services across sectors including public and private sector, education, defence, and infrastructure. This role offers excellent exposure to both professional and project work, alongside a clear pathway to Chartership.

This is great chance to work for one of the UK’s leading consultancies, you will be given transparent and structured training and development. On offer is a clear pathway through to full Directorship.

The Role

  • Deliver a range of building surveying services across multiple projects and sectors
  • Undertake condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical due diligence
  • Prepare reports, specifications and schedules of work
  • Support project delivery, including contract administration under JCT and NEC
  • Assist with refurbishment, maintenance, and capital projects
  • Contribute to building safety and sustainability compliance (including CDM and BSA)
  • Client & Team Involvement
  • Support client relationship management and service delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Engage in CPD, training and knowledge-sharing initiatives

About You

  • Degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited or equivalent)
  • Working towards MRICS status
  • Understanding of construction, contracts (JCT/NEC) and project delivery
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proactive team-oriented approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (AutoCAD/Revit advantageous)
