An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a leading construction business delivering a hyperscale data centre project in northwest London. This is a high-profile, technically complex project requiring strong commercial acumen, supply chain expertise, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced site environment.
The Role
As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities across the project, ensuring value, compliance, and timely delivery of materials and subcontract packages.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned to project and business objectives
- Managing the procurement of major trade packages and long-lead items
- Leading negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best value
- Working closely with project, commercial, and delivery teams on-site
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards
- Managing supplier performance and mitigating procurement-related risks
About You
You will be an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in large-scale construction projects. You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager within construction or major infrastructure
- Experience working on data centres, complex MEP-led projects, or similar high-value schemes
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- The ability to work full-time on-site (5 days per week)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
