About the Opportunity
We are a specialist subcontractor delivering critical earthworks packages on the Lower Thames Crossing, one of the UK's most significant infrastructure schemes. With works now commencing, we are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer / 3D Modeller to play a pivotal role in the early stages of delivery. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a technically driven environment and wants to take ownership of 3D modelling and machine control across a major project.
The Role
- Produce and manage high quality 3D earthworks models for site operations
- Translate design information into accurate, machine ready data
- Lead on machine control implementation and optimisation across site
- Support site engineering activities including setting out and QA
- Collaborate closely with design and delivery teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Provide hands on technical support for machine control systems
- Contribute to planning and sequencing of earthworks operations
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience as a Site Engineer or 3D Modeler within earthworks and heavy civils
- Proficient in Trimble and LSS software
- Extensive experience with machine control systems
- Ideally a machine control specialist with practical, site based expertise
- Proven track record on large scale infrastructure or major civils projects
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem solving mindset
- Ability to work effectively within a fast paced site environment
