This growing business, operating as a main contractor and delivering high-value projects across multiple sectors, is seeking an experienced MEP Site Manager to join its site delivery team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who takes pride in high-quality delivery and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating a proven track record in the safe delivery of high-quality medium to large-scale projects, on time and within budget.
- Maintaining a full understanding of the scope of works for all mechanical and electrical subcontractor packages.
- Managing on-site mechanical and electrical subcontractor works.
- Coordinating M&E activities with the wider site management team.
- Liaising with the Building Services Manager, Project Manager, and Quantity Surveyor regarding works outside the agreed scope.
- Ensuring full compliance with current Health & Safety and CDM legislation.
- Reviewing subcontractor method statements and risk assessments and monitoring compliance throughout the project.
- Issuing, monitoring, and closing out permits for M&E and associated works.
- Inspecting installations to ensure compliance with contract and design requirements.
- Raising NCRs for non-compliant or substandard works.
- Ensuring inspection and test plans (ITPs) are produced, reviewed, and closed out.
- Compiling snagging lists and managing the close-out process.
- Ensuring as-installed works align with design intent and end-user requirements.
- Understanding the building contract and managing key stakeholder interfaces, including client representatives and design teams.
Essential requirements:
- CSCS and SMSTS certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Electrical and/or Mechanical trade qualification.
