A leading Tier One Main Contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join its delivery team on a flagship Data Centre project in West London. This is a high-profile scheme requiring strong technical expertise, exceptional coordination skills, and proven experience in delivering complex MEP packages within mission-critical environments.
The MEP Project Manager will take full responsibility for managing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health packages from installation through to commissioning and handover. Working closely with the Project Director, commercial team, consultants, and specialist subcontractors, they will ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all MEP activities on site
- Manage specialist subcontractors and ensure programme compliance
- Drive commissioning strategy and ensure seamless integration of services
- Chair and attend coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor quality assurance, technical compliance, and health & safety standards
- Report progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
- Ensure client requirements are met in a live or mission-critical environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager on Data Centre or other mission-critical projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems
- Experience working with Tier One Main Contractors
- Demonstrable experience managing packages of significant value
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes and handover procedures
- Relevant engineering or construction qualifications
