A leading national house builder is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a flagship residential development in Biggleswade. This is a permanent opportunity to work on a Traditional build scheme consisting of 200 new homes, offering long-term career progression within a well-established and reputable developer.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the management of subcontractors on site
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
- Monitoring build programmes and maintaining progress
- Conducting quality inspections and ensuring NHBC standards are met
- Supporting with site paperwork and reporting
- Assisting with customer care and handovers
Requirements
- Experience working for a residential developer or house builder
- Proven background in traditional build housing
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
