A Tier 1 Contractor delivering a major infrastructure scheme at Immingham Port is seeking an experienced NEC Supervisor (Landside) to join the project team on a freelance, Outside IR35 basis. This is a long term opportunity on a high profile port development, supporting the delivery of key landside civil engineering works. The successful candidate will report directly to the Lead NEC Supervisor and play an important role in ensuring works are delivered in accordance with NEC contract requirements and project quality standards.
Role Overview
The NEC Supervisor will oversee a range of horizontal civil engineering works across the landside elements of the project. Key works include:
- Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC)
- Earthworks
- Drainage installation
- Construction of a new bridge including both in situ and precast elements
Candidates with a highways or major civil infrastructure background will be well suited to this role.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as an NEC Supervisor on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- NEC4 accreditation preferred, although NEC3 accreditation may be considered
- Strong understanding of NEC contract compliance and quality assurance responsibilities
- Experience supervising civil engineering works such as earthworks, drainage and structures
- Ability to work collaboratively with the delivery team while maintaining the independence of the Supervisor role
