We are working with a leading specialist contractor delivering complex M&E projects within mission-critical environments. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team.

This role is ideally suited to an electrically qualified Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering large-scale electrical packages within Data Centres, Critical Facilities, Industrial, or other technically complex construction environments. You will take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover, ensuring delivery is safe, commercially successful, and completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from handover through to completion.
  • Lead the delivery of electrical packages in line with programme, budget, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist contractors.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks and critical path activities.
  • Chair client, design, and progress meetings.
  • Plan and manage commissioning activities through to successful handover.
  • Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Manage RFIs and technical design queries.
  • Coordinate design development with consultants and specialist subcontractors.
  • Review and approve technical submittals and procurement schedules.
  • Ensure electrical installations are delivered in accordance with design intent and industry standards.
  • Lead procurement of electrical subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
  • Review quotations and negotiate best-value procurement solutions.
  • Support commercial teams with valuations, forecasting, and cost reporting.
  • Identify and manage project variations and change control processes.
  • Monitor project costs and maintain commercial performance throughout delivery.
