One of my longstanding clients are delivering major infrastructure works at Gatwick Airport and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their high-performing team. This exceptional opportunity is also applicable for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is ready to step up and take on full commercial responsibility — going beyond the usual AQS remit. You will get cradle-to-grave exposure, from procurement through to final accounts, with the freedom and trust to deliver the project your way. This role will put you front and centre with their client, running meetings, building lasting relationships, and playing a key role as they look to capitalise on the significant investment in Gatwick’s infrastructure. What You’ll Be Doing: Managing the full commercial cycle of the project, from procurement to final accounts. Leading client meetings and building strong, long-term relationships. Driving the commercial success of the project, ensuring quality and value. Working closely with our on-site delivery team to maintain our high standards. Bringing a proactive and solutions-focused approach to every challenge.What We’re Looking For: Civil engineering contractor background with self-delivery experience. NEC contract experience is essential. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work independently. The confidence to take ownership of your work and make decisions. Attitude is everything – if you’re good enough to be promoted after a year, you will be.
