Quantity Surveyor Tier 1 MEP Contractor Berkshire We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a high-profile strategic project. This is a permanent role offering long-term opportunities to work on major UK infrastructure project in Berkshire. About the employer: You’ll be joining one of the UK’s largest, family-owned building services and engineering businesses. With over a century of experience, they deliver major projects across sectors, including nuclear, defence, energy, healthcare, and infrastructure. Known for their strong values, stability, and long-term client relationships, they offer genuine career development opportunities on some of the country’s most significant programmes. What you’ll be doing: Administering and managing subcontractor accounts. Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth commercial delivery. Handling multiple subcontract packages valued between £10k and £500k. Supporting both live projects in the commissioning phase and new work entering preconstruction. Working closely within a supportive team structure that includes Senior QSs, an Assistant QS, and specialist MEP colleagues. What we’re looking for: Background in construction, fit-out, or similar (MEP experience not essential). Proven experience managing subcontractor accounts of varying sizes. Strong communication and commercial skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. What’s on offer: Salary around £50,000 plus £5,000 car allowance.
