Job Description

Position: Project Manager\\nRate: £450 Outside IR35\\nLocation: Birmingham\\nStart date: 6th May\\nContract Duration: 10 months\\n\\nPeople Group are looking to recruit a Project Manager from a Client Side background to work for a Train Operating Company.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\nCapturing stakeholder requirements\\nGenerating sponsor's remits\\nProduce procurement strategy\\nProduce RFCs to DfT, produce work specification / scope\\nProduction of procurement deliverables and take through process\\nManagement of design suppliers for surveys and design\\nManage delivery suppliers for construction and acting as safety lead for checking quality and safety on site.\\nParticipate in all relevant project and PMO reporting activities as requiredEssentials and Desirables:\\nExperience working client side within the rail sector (preferably on Depots)\\nNEC3 / NEC4 working knowledge\\nObtained or working towards EngTech, IEng, CEng or Equivalent.\\nA PRINCE2 Practitioner/ APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.\\nHealth and Safety Qualification – IOSH minimum\\nA postgraduate University degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business or significant operational experience
