A leading global professional services consultancy has recently secured a key delivery partner contract on a major transportation programme in the North of England. This multi-billion-pound programme will play a transformative role in the region, modernising a vital east west corridor.
As a Project Manager, you will initially support this high profile programme while becoming a valued member of both the wider complex projects team and the project management practice. You will be joining a collaborative and flexible business that genuinely invests in its people. Development is a real priority, with plenty of support and training available, as well as encouragement and guidance to help you progress towards becoming a fully Chartered Project Manager.
With around 160 professional project managers in the practice, the team supports a range of blue-chip clients across the full development and delivery lifecycle, so you will gain experience in working across multiple sectors: Rail, Road, Water, Energy and Aviation.
What will you be doing?
- Provide high levels of project and programme management standards across the whole project lifecycle
- Advise clients on project cost, programme, risks, and issues
- Manage multi-disciplinary professional teams
- Produce monthly reports including project schedules, risk registers etc.
- Implement effective and efficient communication tools
- Develop delivery plans for projects
