Project Access Manager - Rolling Stock Replacement

Position: Project Access Manager
Rate: £450 Inside IR35
Location: London
Duration: 4 months+

People Group are looking to recruit a Project Manager with prior experience working Client side to work for a leading rail consultancy on a Rolling Stock Replacement Programme.

Responsibilities:

1. Planning and execution of the remaining CAF and Hitachi type testing prior to the first B23 DLR trains entering passenger service.
2. Managing the integration of possession access requirements across RSRP, interfacing with external and third-party works such as DLR Projects and VMAS.
3. Consistently managing the re-prioritisation of works and amending the strategy and access requests to align.
4. Liaising with the maintainer and operator to agree access plans, minimising impacts to operational service whilst maximising access for delivery teams.
5. Ensuring access requests are to standard before being submitted to the maintainer and operator, and that access request timelines are adhered to by Contractors.

Essentials:

1. Experience working Client or Consultancy Side in Possession Access.
2. Must have excellent knowledge of Rolling Stock.
3. Experience in delivering multiple multi-disciplinary projects in a railway environment to time and to budget.
4. Must be open to working a flexible schedule which includes engineering hours and weekends.
