How would you like to work on some of the UK’s most exciting and high-profile projects whilst playing a key role in the growth of a thriving regional team? I’m currently working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy looking to appoint an Associate Director across Project Management or Building Surveying to support the continued expansion of their Oxford & Cambridge team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior professional ready to step into an Associate Director position within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where your voice, ideas, and leadership genuinely matter. You will work with large financial institutions, public sector organisations and the Ministry of Justice.

The role involves taking ownership across the full project lifecycle, managing key client relationships, overseeing project delivery, and supporting the strategic growth of the business across the region. Alongside delivering exceptional work, you’ll mentor junior team members and help strengthen an already established client base through your network and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing projects from inception through to completion
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing project governance, budgets, risk, and change control
  • Monitoring programme, financial, technical, and KPI performance
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing teams
  • Supporting business growth across Oxford & Cambridge
  • Delivering projects in line with safety, integrity, collaboration, and excellence values
Requirements:
  • Successful Project Manager or Building Surveyor MRICS or APM Chartered status
  • Strong technical and project delivery experience
  • Commercially aware with business development capability
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and statutory compliance
  • An ambitious individual looking to step into a leadership role
